Bonnie Cook

Bonnie Cook, 73, of Wharton, died December 25, 2016, in Wharton. Bonnie was born on May 8, 1943, in Wharton. She was a daughter of Russell and Billie Rowe. Bonnie was raised in the Wharton area and graduated from Wharton High School before earning her Associates degree from the University of Houston. She traveled extensively after college before moving back to Wharton, where she worked as a Substitute Teacher. She had a deep appreciation for music and singing. Bonnie was survived by her son Kent Cook; sister Lou Claire Kuminecz and her husband Jerry; grandchildren Caleb Cook, Tabitha Cook, Callie Cook, Adrienne Wigginton; and niece Lisa Bradford.
