Pedro F. Tovar

Pedro F. Tovar, 74, of Wharton, Texas, passed away January 23, 2017, following injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Wharton. He was born January 28, 1942 in Mexico. Pedro enjoyed woodworking, plants and being outdoors. He worked for Greenleaf Nurseries for many years. In addition to his parents, Pedro was preceded in death by his grandson, Connor Hooper. Pedro is survived by his wife, Josefina Tovar of Wharton, sons, Arthur and Pete Tovar of Wharton and daughter, Lisa Hooper and husband, Zach of Sugar Land. Visitation will begin from 6 till 8 pm on Thursday, January 26 at the Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 10 am on Friday, January 27 at the Wharton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral services were under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home. Condolences can be made at whartonfuneralhome.com.
