Blanca Aguilar Sosa Blanca Aguilar Sosa, 59, of Wharton, died February 22, 2017, in Bay City. Blanca was born on December 1, 1957, in Wharton. Blanca was the daughter of Jose and Mary Peralez Aguilar. Blanca attended Wharton High School, prior to her marriage to Richard Sosa, Jr. She became a stay at home mom to her two children. She loved her family, her soap operas, and visiting her sisters. She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Aguilar. She was survived by her husband Richard Sosa Jr.; mother Mary Aguilar; daughter Jessica Garza Penrice & her husband Gale Sr. of Boling; sister-in-law Dolores Sosa; son Ricardo Sosa II & his wife Stephanie of Boling; sisters Marina Aguilar Ramirez & her husband Mel of Austin and Margie Zavala & her husband Juan of Marfa; brothers Jessie Joe Aguilar & his wife Rebecca Rodriguez of Knippa; sister-in-law Dolores Sosa; grandchildren Galeshia Penrice, Gale Penrice Jr., Gabriel Penrice, Alexia Rodriguez, Mariah Syann Sosa, Hannah Rodriguez, Sophie Rodriguez; Godson Joshua Ramirez, her beloved cat Emily Sosa, as well as numerous nieces & nephews. A Memorial Celebration will be held on Saturday, February 25, at 6:00 p.m. at Wharton Funeral Home. Funeral services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.
