Margaret Rios

Margaret Rios, 88, of Boling, passed away early Friday morning, March 3, 2017, in Wharton. She was born on March 22, 1928 in Newgulf, Texas to the late Alvino and Guadalupe Cuellar Campos. Margaret was raised in Newgulf and graduated from Boling High School. She married Henry G. Rios on July 18, 1953. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1991. Margaret worked as a sales and orders clerk for NAPA for many years. She enjoyed her time with her family. Margaret was musically inclined, playing the piano and accordion. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Ricardo Campos Rios and Ruben Campos Rios, sister, Delia Campos Alanis, brothers, Alvino Campos, Jr., Richard Campos, David Campos, Carlos Campos. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 after 1 pm with funeral services beginning at 2pm at the chapel of Wharton Funeral Home. Margaret was survived by her daughter, Graciela Rios Pallanez of Houston, sons, Enrique C. Rios and Vincente C. Rios grandchildren, Enrique, Jr., Crystal, Ruben, Jr., Corina, Amy and Andrew, great grandchildren Lauren and Joziah, sisters, Irene C. Carbajal, Corena Robles, Amelia Garcia, Lydia Campos, Elva Ramirez and Betty Jimenez and brothers, Robert Campos, Sr., Alonzo Campos and Rodolfo Campos.
