Paul Luna Sanchez

Paul Sanchez Paul Luna Sanchez, 64, of Hungerford, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017, in a Sugarland hospital following a sudden illness. He was born on May 25, 1952 in Wharton, Texas to the late LeRoy and Ofelia Luna Sanchez. Paul was raised in Wharton area. He worked in the Agriculture Industry for many years as a farm laborer. He enjoyed going to Wal-Mart and drinking sodas and eating hamburgers from his favorite place. He was Catholic by Faith. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Isabel Sanchez and Manuel Paul Sanchez. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16 from 11 am until 12 noon at Wharton Funeral Home, followed by the Rite of Committal and burial at 1230 pm at Wharton Cemetery with Father Bob Knippenberg. Serving as pallbearers were Adolfo Hernandez, Rodolfo Zacarias, Alejandro Hernandez, Manuel Sanchez, Francisco Tzintzun, Jr, and Maxamillion Sanchez. Paul is survived by his daughter, Marie Valenzuela and husband, Genaro of Tallahassee, FL, Becky Sanchez and husband Adolfo Hernandez of Panama City, FL Paula Zacarias and husband, Rodolfo of Panama City, FL, and Frances Hernandez and husband, Alejandro, son, Manuel Sanchez of Panama City, FL, two sisters and four brothers, twenty-two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
