Zacarias “Zack” Diaz Jr. Zacarias “Zack” Diaz Jr., 46, of Wharton, died March 18, 2017, in Houston. Zack was born on June 26, 1970, in Richmond, TX, to Zacarias and Teodora Hernandez Diaz Sr. Zack graduated from Needville High School, class of 1989. He worked a variety of jobs before his disability. He enjoyed many things, but especially playing the slots at casinos and singing karaoke. Zack is survived by his sons Trey Diaz and Kristopher Diaz both of Rosenberg; sisters Francis Zambano & Jose Gonzales of Wharton, Sandy Gardner & Charles of Wharton and Regina Diaz of Rosenberg; and brother Victor Hernandez. There will be a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, March 25, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Wharton Funeral Home. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are his nephews, Eric Diaz and Julian Palacios-Menjivar.
