Anna Malone Stolle, 76, of Wharton, passed away March 26, 2017, in Houston, TX. Anna was born on October 31, 1940, in Houston, to the late Marion “Mack” and Gloria Malone. Anna was raised in Pledger and graduated Boling High School, class of 1959. As a girl, she was an all-around cowgirl. She loved racing barrels, and working cattle from horseback. She moved to Wharton in 1960. While working as a Ward Clerk at Gulf Coast Medical Center, she met her future husband, Robert Stolle. They were married on August 8, 1964, at the old Holy Family Catholic Church. She left the workforce to focus her attention on her growing family.
