Bryan Allen Weise

Bryan Allen Weise, 57, of Wallis, died May 7, 2017, in El Campo, TX. Bryan was born on September 11, 1959, in Fal Furias, TX, to Allen and Hazel Payne Weise. Bryan graduated from Yorktown High School before attending Victoria Community College. He went on to marry Marie Macha on May 1, 1982. He worked as a rough neck in the oil fields for 20+ years before becoming a butcher and Market Manager. He loved to use his knowledge of meat at various charity BBQs. He was serving as the Deputy Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus until his death. Other loves were playing his guitar and singing. Bryan was survived by his wife of 35 years, Marie Macha Weise; daughter Alyssa Rhoads & Calvin of Port O’Conner; sons Joseph Weise of Wallis and Brandon Weise & Brittany of Friendswood; sister Becky Meriwether& Paul of Mt. Pleasant; brother Boyd Weise & Pam of Yorktown ; and grandchildren Talia Weise, Devyn Podsim, Jaydin Rhoads and Audrey Rhoads. Visitation will be on Thursday, 5/11, from 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday 5/12, at 2:00 p.m. also at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Michael Zurovec, Sam Williams, Steve Williams , Matthew Kulhanek, Calvin Rhoads and Daniel Martinez. Funeral services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.
