Charles Albert Bullard Charles Bullard, 59, of Wharton, passed away in a Houston hospital following a lengthy illness on Monday, May 22, 2017. Charles was born on July 25, 1957 in El Campo Texas to the late Charles Clifton and Mary Jo Taylor Bullard. Charles was a longtime resident of Wharton County, having attended schools in El Campo. He worked as a roughneck in the oilfields most of his life. Charles enjoyed fishing, being at the beach and always enjoyed a good party with friends and family. An avid BBQ maker, Charles relished cook offs, meeting old and new friends. Charles is survived by his sisters, Cherrie Bothe, of Rosenberg and Pamela Sherrill of Mesa Arizona, brother, Lloyd Eric Bullard of Beaumont, and a host of friends and extended family. Following cremation, memorial services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the chapel of Wharton Funeral Home. Funeral services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.
