Pamela R. Johnson

Pamela R. Johnson, 44, of Katy, Texas, joined her Heavenly Father on July the 11th, 2017. Pamela was born in Augusta, Georgia, on January 10, 1973 to Larry and Margaret Sandlin. She attended Bay City High School, and worked very hard to support her three sons. Pamela was a cherished daughter, mother, grandmother and sister.   Pamela was preceded in death by her older sister, and one of her best friends, Rebecca Sandlin; the father of her children, Steven Johnson; grandparents, Joe and Callie Sandlin, and O.B. and Iva Lockard. She is survived by her sons, Jonathan, Joshua and wife Nikki, and Jacob Johnson; her three grandchildren, Trina, Zoe and Emilee; her sisters and their spouses, Virginia and Randall Kauffman, Darline and Martin Barber, Teresa Sandlin, and Sara and Max; aunt and uncle, Don and Debbie Lockard; as well as many nieces Kellie, Kimberly and Jessica Kauffman, nephews Chris and Michael Graham, and Timothy Kauffman, many cousins and friends that were dear to her heart.   “Our sweet Pamela, we will always love you. You will always have a piece of our hearts.”   A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, July the 23rd, 2017 at Wharton Funeral Home in Wharton with Pastor Tony Wishert officiating.   In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to The Crisis Center of Wharton and Matagorda counties, P.O. Box 1820, Bay City, TX  77404-1820.
