Henry “Hank” Christopher Twardowski, 70, of Wharton, passed away on July 23, 2017, in a Sugar Land hospital following a brief illness. Henry was born on September 10, 1946 in East Bernard, TX to the late Frank and Frances Zdzieblowski Twardowski, Sr. Hank was raised in East Bernard area and attended school there. He married Doris Armstrong on September 10, 1966. She preceded him in death on May 30, 2007. Henry worked as a truck driver for Sterling’s Vacuum Service for many years and was also a painter. He enjoyed fishing and hunting deer. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Wharton for many years. In addition to his parents and wife, Henry was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank Twardowski, Jr., and Anthony Twardowski. Henry is survived by his brothers, Robert Twardowski and wife, JoAnn of Boling, Martin Twardowski and wife Carolyn of Pleasonton, and sister, Patricia Winkenwerder of Wharton, sisters in law, Ruth Twardowski and Vera Twardowski, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
