Norma Epps Norma Epps, of Eagle Lake, passed away September 5, 2017, at an Eagle Lake hospital following an extended illness. Norma was born on February 4, 1940 in Winterville, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Cleo Patterson Vandiford and Fannie Cornilia Carmen Vandiford. Norma was raised in North Carolina and attended school there. She married Harold Epps 59 years ago. Norma worked as a tax preparer in finance and bank teller. She also owned and operated a record store in Wharton in the 70’s named Sounds Unlimited. She was an avid music lover and loved her grandchildren very much. She is survived by her husband, Harold Epps of Eagle Lake, son, Wesley Epps and wife, Alicia of Boerne, daughter, Angela Gould and husband, Clint of Wimberley and grandchildren, Phillip Epps, Paul Epps, Hallie Epps and Kayla Gould. Following cremation, private family services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton.
