Dominga Cerrillo Aguilar

Dominga Cerrillo Aguilar, 99, of Wharton, TX, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 in a Wharton nursing home. Dominga was born on February 3, 1918, to Epifanio Cerrillo and Paula Valle Cerrillo in San Antonio, Texas. Dominga was raised in the Wharton area and attended school there. Dominga loved her family and spent most of her life caring for her mother, who was blind. She also enjoyed playing bingo. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, 3 sisters in law and lifelong friends. Visitation was held on Wednesday evening starting at 5:30 p.m. at Wharton Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church with Father Antonio Perez officiating. The Rite of Committal and burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park. Funeral services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.
