Vivian Eva Jansky passed away peacefully on November 6, 2017 at the age of 75. She was born on May 14, 1942 in Pasadena, Texas to Daymon Taylor Frankum and Erlene Hawkins Cowart. Vivian had three sisters, Janice Leigh, Brenda Joyce and Linda Lois and a brother, Wayne Frankum. Vivian met the love of her life, Marvin Louis Jansky, and they were married on April 25, 1957. They made a life and a home in Wharton Texas and together they raised four children, Anthony, David, Rick and Michelle; six grandchildren Sharla Svoboda, Dustin Jansky, Erin Jansky, Shane Jansky, Janelle Cook and Emily Jansky; and six great grandchildren, Austin, Kael, Dylan Devyn, Delylah and Kimber. Vivian loved to cook and play with her kids and grandkids. She never turned down a party, loved to dance and loved her dogs. You could often find her sitting in her patio enjoying the days, her favorite times of year were fall and winter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Anthony, her husband, Marvin and her sister, Linda. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Visitation was held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at Wharton Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7 pm. by Deacon David Valdez. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. A Rite of Committal and burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. Serving as pallbearers were Rick Jansky, Shane Jansky, Erin Jansky, Austin Kelly, Scott Svoboda, Kael Svoboda, Russell Frankum, Clint Frankum.
