In Loving Memory Of Frieda Mae Hacker June 3, 1927 ~ December 4, 2017 Frieda Mae Hacker, 90, of El Campo, Texas passed away with her family by her side. She was born June 3, 1927 in Pilot, Illinois to George H.J. and Ruby Mae (Altman) Hacker. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 8, 2017 at St. John’s Lutheran Church located at 614 Pecan Street Wharton, Texas 77488. The family welcomes friends for a time of visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Wharton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Frieda was a member of the Ladies Aid Society at St. John’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crafting and embroidery. Frieda loved to play dominoes with her friends, watching games shows, and doing word searches. Left to cherish Frieda’s memory are her daughters; Margaret Malek of El Campo, Alberta Hacker of Gatesville, and Dorthy Baumann and husband, Craig of El Campo, and her son, William Hacker and wife, Lee Ann of El Campo, as well as her 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto George Hacker, her parents; George H.J. and Ruby Mae (Altman) Hacker, her son, George Hacker, son-in-law, Victor Malek, granddaughter, Nashell Stary, and her brother Dale Hacker. Pallbearers will be her Grandsons. Thank you to her caregivers Rodina, Debbie, Rosalinda, and Muriel, as well as the staff of Wharton Nursing and Rehab.
