Daniella Guadalupe Mendoza, age 19, of Wharton, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 8, 2018 in Bay City. She was born on July 21, 1998 in Mexico to Jaciento and Alicia Leon Mendoza of Wharton. Daniella earned the honor of being the Salutatorian of the Wharton High School 2016 graduating class. She was enrolled in the nursing program at Wharton County Junior College. She was known for her smile, laughter and loving nature. She enjoyed reading, sports, helping people by being a volunteer during Hurricane Harvey relief. She was well versed in many topics and could carry on a conversation with many different people. Daniella loved her nephew Brian and enjoyed spending time with him. Daniella is survived by her parents, Jaciento and Alicia Mendoza of Wharton, sister, Leticia Mendoza and husband, Eric Ochoa, nephew, Brian Ochoa, grandmother Rosa Linda Barron of Wharton, grandfather, Narciso Leon of Mexico; uncle, Miguel Mendoza of Wharton and Aunt Marivel Mendoza of Wharton and numerous family and friends.   A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Bay City, Tx.   Rite of Committal and Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.  Funeral services are under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Home. Nació el 21 de Julió de 1998 en México, en manos de Jaciento y Alicia Leon Mendoza de Wharton. Daniella se ganó el honor de ser la Salutatorian de la clase de graduación de Wharton High School en 2016. Ella estaba inscrita en el programa de enfermería en Wharton County Junior College. Ella era conocida por su sonrisa, su risa y su amorosa naturaleza. Le gustaba leer, hacer deportes, ayudar a las personas al ser voluntaria durante el alivio del huracán Harvey.
