Eva Border, 80, of Wharton, TX passed away on Friday evening, January 12, 2018 in a Bay City nursing home following a lengthy illness. Eva was born on March 20, 1937, to the late Benonia Long and Helen Zornow Foreman, in Marion, Indiana. Eva was raised in Indiana. She graduated from High School in Indiana. Eventually moving to Colorado, Eva loved camping especially in the mountains. She moved to Texas in 1995. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Clark in 1978 and her second husband, Al Border in 2013 and her brother Trent Long. Left to mourn her loss are her daughter Valarie Aho and husband, Rick of Hudson, CO; son, Marvin Clark and wife, Kathy of Wharton; sister, Nancy Zornow of Virginia; brothers, Marshall Long of Florida, Kevin Long of Florida, and Howard Zornow of San Antonio; grandchildren, Marvin, Tina, Jessica, Angela, Wesley, Daniyelle and Shayne; and great grandchildren, Dakota, Emmy, Samantha, Thomas, Aidan, Cameran, Marshall, Abbigail and Rilynn. Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held on January 27, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Magnet Baptist Church. Funeral services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.
