Emilia "Amy" Fonacier Guadette

In Loving Memory of Emilia F. ”Amy” Gaudette November 27, 1952 ~ February 20, 2018 Emilia Gaudette, 65, of East Bernard, TX passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 20, 2018 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born on November 27, 1952 in Rosales, Philippines to the late Jose and Maximina Mendosa Fonacier. Emilia was raised in the Philippines and graduated from Rosales National High School in Rosales. She later obtained her Bachelors’ Degree from Luzon University. On November 2, 1985 she married Philip Gaudette in North Chicago. Emilia worked as a bank teller for over 30 years, retiring in 2015. Prior to moving to East Bernard in 2005, she and Philip lived in Wharton and in the Philippines. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Philip Gaudette of East Bernard, daughter, Angelina Gaudette of East Bernard, sisters, Gloria Tapac, Virginia Udo, Imelda Andres, Monica Dannenhaus and Rosita Schmith and brother, Rico Fonacier, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Following cremation, Visitation will be held on Thursday March 1, 2018 at First Baptist Church in East Bernard from 5 till 7 pm. Memorial Services will be Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in East Bernard with Rev. David Holt officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Ronald McDonald House in her name. Funeral services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.
