Bonnie Mae Kimball

     Bonnie Mae Kimball, 80, of Palacios, TX passed away Friday evening, April 20, 2018 at her residence. She was born on May 1, 1937 in Superior, Wisconsin to the late Eldor and Eloise Volker Danielsen.        Bonnie was raised in California and graduated from Fair Oaks High School. She married Jerome Kimball, Jr. on June 7, 1957 in Ojai, CA. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2001. Due to Jerome being in the military, the family moved several times before settling in Palacios, which they called home since 1989. Bonnie was an awesome homemaker. She enjoyed travel, was an avid reader, an excellent seamstress, and an animal lover. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacey Kimball Odom, son, Jerome “Jerry” Kimball, III and brother, David Danielsen.        Bonnie is survived by her sister, Shelley Santerre and husband, Glenn of Mount Dora, FL and cousin, David Armstrong and wife, Zonia of Houston.        Following cremation, private family services will be held at a later date.   Funeral services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.  Condolences may be left at whartonfuneralhome.com.
