Cresencia Maria Gonzales September 21, 1936 ~ February 10, 2022 Cresencia Maria Gonzales passed into the arms of the Lord on February 10, 2022 in Houston. She was born on September 21, 1936, in Wharton, TX to Felipe Castillo and Blasa Herrera. Cresencia was a lifelong resident of Wharton. Some of her favorite things to do were watching her soaps and spending time with her family, she was especially fond of sharing precious moments with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cresencia is survived by her daughters Mary Lupe Marine of Wharton, Olivia Gonzales of Wharton, Diana Gonzales of Bloomington TX., Sons Johnnie Gonzales of Wharton, Dan Gonzales and wife Riki Wilson of Wharton, Freddie Gonzales of Wharton. She is also survived by her siblings Lupe Castillo of Houston, Mary Castillo of Houston, Maria Luna and husband Julian, Guadalupe Castillo, and Tony Castillo of Wharton, along with fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Relatives and friend are invited to her viewing on Wednesday February 16th, 2022 between 5-7 pm at Wharton Funeral Home 515 E. Boiling Hwy. Religious service will be held at 10am on Thursday February 17th, 2022 at Our Lady Mt. Carmel at 506 S. East Avenue.
