Dale H McCain

Dale H. McCain, 57 of East Bernard, passed away on July 28th, 2022 after a battle with heart complications.

Born in East Bernard, to Wylie and Dell McCain, Dale was a fun-loving and friendly boy. After high school, he spent his entire working life in construction, where he earned the nickname “Gallo” or “Rooster” in Spanish, for his early mornings.

He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, cooking and grilling for friends/family, listening to Stevie Ray Vaughan, and most of all, Dallas Cowboy football.

Fiercely passionate about his family, he moved back home to help take care of his mother, Dell.

He is survived by his son, Shawn, prior Army now mechanic of East Bernard; his son, Kris, prior Army now Network Engineer in Austin; brother Tim and wife, Sheri; brother, Ronnie and wife, Betty; sister, Sharon and husband, Bill; and lastly his beautiful mother, Dell.

A memorial service will be held at the Wharton Funeral Home on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
