Daniel Charles Kutach, 74, of Burr, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at a Victoria care center. He was born on October 11, 1948, in Wharton, Texas to the late Vencil and Millie Heinrich Kutach. Daniel was raised in the Boling area and attended school there. After serving our country honorably in the United States Army, he returned to the Boling area to farm and ranch with his family. He played in a band in his younger days, drums and steel guitar. He enjoyed music, hunting, fishing, woodworking, and harvesting pecans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, V.J. Kutach, Ervin Kutach, Leon Kutach, Mary Orsak, Sophie Ezell and Evelyn Stavinoha. He is survived by his daughters, Brandy Hilbrich and husband, Gearl of Goliad, and Bonnie Nall and husband, Clayton of Cuero; sister, Lillie Mae Pustejovsky; brothers, Adolph Kutach and wife, Clara, Eugene Kutach and wife, Margie, and Stanley Kutach and wife, Peggy; grandchildren, Wyatt Hilbrich, Cami Nall, Olivia Nall, and Tanner Nall and numerous other family members and many, many friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022, after 3pm with a rosary recited at 5pm. The Funeral Mass and Rite of Committal will be at 10am at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Samuel Appiassi in Wharton. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. Serving as pallbearers are Scott Kutach, Tony Kutach, Dennis Pustejovsky, Kevin Maly, Larry Grigar, and Bryant Salyer.
