Destiny Callis, only 1 month and six days old, of Edna, Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at a Houston Hospital, Texas.  She was born on March 24, 2019 in Houston, Texas to parents, DeKesson and Diana Guerra Callis, Sr.

Destiny is survived by her parents, DeKesson and Diana Callis of Edna, sisters, Taviana Whalon, DeKaelyn Callis, DeKamryn Callis, and De Kaisse Callis, brothers, Kendrick Fortenberry and DeKesson Callis, Jr., grandparents, Leticia and Robert Hengeveld and Helen Callis and Charles Bell, aunts and uncles, Leslie Sedillo, Flor Guerra, Crystal Gutierrez and Grisel Contreras and husband, Gabriel and uncle, David Guerra.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 11 am at the Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton.
