Dolores O'Quinn

Dolores O'Quinn, 86, of Sweeny, Texas, peacefully passed away on January 29, 2025, at Oak Village nursing home in Lake Jackson, Texas. Born on October 28, 1938, in Crews, Louisiana in a log cabin to the late Hilton Clay Reynolds and Lee Hickman Reynolds.

 Dolores lived a life filled with love, devotion, and unwavering faith. She was a cherished daughter, beloved wife, and dedicated mother, whose heart always found solace in reading the Bible and her Baptist faith.

 Dolores was deeply admired for her nurturing spirit and her commitment to caring for her family. She devoted herself tirelessly to raising her daughters, Pam and Cindy, and created a warm, loving home that served as a sanctuary for those she loved. Her passing has left a heartache that echoes through the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

In addition, to her parents she was proceeded in death by her daughter, Cindy Coates.

 Dolores is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Wilbert Lee O'Quinn, daughter, Pam Marshall and husband, Mike of West Columbia; grandsons Justin and Blake Marshall, Matthew Coates and granddaughter Gabrielle, along with numerous nieces and nephews; brothers, Bobby Reynolds and wife, Diane; Scott Reynolds and wife, Cindy and Buddy Reynolds and wife, Delores. The bond they shared was a testament to the deep love and values she instilled in her family.

 Visitation will start at 12:00 PM on February 3, 2025 at Wharton Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at Wharton Funeral Home on February 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Brother Tony Wishert officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton, Tx.
