Obituary for Edward Paul Jansky
Edward Paul Jansky, known by those who loved him as “Eddie” entered the world on July 18, 1957, and departed on April 10, 2025, at the age of 67. With a quick wit, a twinkle in his eye, and advice that he always had on hand, he commanded a room like nobody else. Although he experienced great losses, he never lost faith and always rose above whatever hand he was dealt. Without a doubt, he was resilient and never, ever gave up. He was fiercely loyal, loved deeply and always strived to be better. He could fix anything, solve any problem and would do absolutely anything for those he loved.
Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Edward Robert Jansky and his two oldest children, Edward Paul Jansky, Jr. “Little Eddie” and Crystal Lyn Jansky. He is survived by his son Kurt and his wife, Raquel of Richland Hills, Texas and their children, Rebecca, Eagan, Ialo, Guinevere, Brayden, Crystal, Peliah and Hasia Jansky, daughter, Shirley and her husband, Joshua of Round Rock and their children, Amara, Raven and Joshua Jr. Arrington, stepson, Arthur Castillo and his family, step daughter Lisa Venglar and her family, his granddaughter Aylissa Jansky Finn, and family of Idaho. He is further survived by his brother, his rolling buddy in life, Douglas and wife Miriam of Austin and their son, Dylan Jansky. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends. For those of you that loved him so, thank you. Please know that he knew that you did.
Eddie was a father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. But most of all, he was the center of the world to his family. The pain of a hard good-bye is the heart’s tribute to the privilege of love, and loved you were. We will forever keep a light on for you, see you on the other side.
