Elifonso Gobea, 43 de East Bernard, Texas, falleció el jueves 19 de septiembre de 2019. Eli nació el 23 de enero de 1976 en Tamaulipas, México, hijo de Felipe y Juana Berrones Gobea.

Se crió en México y asistió a la escuela allí. Una vez que llegó a los Estados Unidos, se convirtió en trabajador y trabajó para muchas granjas en el área de East Bernard. Eli se casó con Blanca Ascencio el 24 de octubre de 2001 en Wharton. Le gustaba cazar, pescar y estar cerca de sus amigos.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Blanca Gobea, hijas, Adriana Gobea, Christina Gobea y Faviola Gobea, todas de East Bernard, madre, Juana Berrones, hermanas: Sandra Govea, Carolina Govea y Teresa Govea, hermanos, Felipe Govea, Victor Govea y Juan Govea junto con numerosas sobrinas, sobrinos y amigos cercanos.

La visita comenzará a las 9:00 a.m. el sábado 28 de septiembre de 2019 en la funeraria Chapel of Wharton Funeral con un rosario recitado a las 10:00 a.m. seguido del servicio fúnebre que se celebrará el sábado a las 11:00 a.m. en Chapel of Wharton Funeral Inicio Wharton. La cremación seguirá los servicios.

Elifonso Gobea, 43 of East Bernard, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019. 

Eli was born on January 23, 1976 in Tamaulipas, Mexico, a son of Felipe and Juana Berrones Gobea.

He was raised in Mexico and attended school there. Once coming to the United States, he became a laborer and worked for many farms in the East Bernard area. Eli married Blanca Ascencio on October 24, 2001 in Wharton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being around his friends.

He is survived by his wife, Blanca Gobea, daughters, Adriana Gobea, Christina Gobea and Faviola Gobea all of East Bernard, mother, Juana Berrones, sisters: Sandra Govea, Carolina Govea and Teresa Govea, brothers, Felipe Govea, Victor Govea and Juan Govea; along with numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home Wharton. Cremation will follow the services.
