 Eva Rodriguez, a beloved homemaker, was born on November 26, 1938, in Mc Allen, Texas. She passed away peacefully at her residence on October 2, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family.

Eva was known for her unwavering devotion to her family, embodying a spirit of love that truly knew no measure. Her warmth and kindness were felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. As a devoted mother, she loved her dogs and cherished her children deeply: Stephanie Bear, married to Steven of Boling, TX; Janie McClain, married to Aaron of El Campo, TX; Demenico Rodriguez of Wharton, TX; Aurelio Rodriguez Jr., married to Destiny of Wharton, TX; and Richard Rodriguez, married to Susie of Wharton, TX.; and sister Mary Garcia of Wharton, TX. Eva took immense joy in the lives of her 16 grandchildren and celebrated the arrival of 10 great-grandchildren, with another on the way.

Throughout her life, Eva cultivated her interests with great passion. She found happiness in knitting, indulged occasionally in scratch-off tickets, and loved to watch cooking shows. These hobbies brought her joy and moments of relaxation, reflecting her vibrant personality.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Aurelio Rodriguez, as well as her sister, Socorro Pena, and her brothers Reyes Mejorado and Juan Mejorado. Their memory continued to live on in her heart throughout her life.

The community is invited to pay their respects during the visitation on October 11, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 515 E Boling Hwy, Wharton, TX, followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on October 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, located at 506 South East Avenue, Wharton, TX. Afterward, a Graveside Service will take place at Evergreen Memorial Park, 3511 East Alabama Road, Wharton, TX, starting at 11:00 AM.

Eva Rodriguez's legacy of love and dedication to her family will forever reside in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her gentle spirit and nurturing presence will be dearly missed.
