Frank Kresta

Frank Anton Kresta, 92, of Houston and formerly of East Bernard, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 in Houston.  He was born October 28, 1929 in Moulton to the late Edwin J and Mary Ann Derrich Kresta.  

He was raised in the Moulton, Texas area and graduated from Moulton High School. He joined the United States Army for over 24 years, serving in World War II, Korea and Viet Nam. After earning his discharge, he served as a Director of Hospital services for 12 years and later as Director of Food Service, Porterville Public Schools, Porterville, California. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Soon Tok on January 5, 2009.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Nam of California and grandchildren, Olivia and Oliver.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
