Gloria Segura February 12, 1954 - December 12, 2023 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gloria Segura, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Gloria peacefully left this world on December 12, 2023, surrounded by her loving family in Wharton, Texas, at the age of 69. Born on February 12, 1954, in Wharton, Texas, Gloria proudly embraced her Hispanic heritage. She was a shining example of strength, resilience, and unwavering love throughout her life. Gloria was a woman of determination and achieved success as a dedicated home health provider. Her compassionate heart and nurturing spirit led her to care for countless individuals in her community, leaving a lasting impact on the lives she touched. Gloria's legacy extends far beyond her professional accomplishments. She was a loving and devoted mother to her eight children: Juan Ramos, Jose Ramos, Lisa Velazquez, Alicia Segura, Jamie Ramos, Sandy Sedillo, Amanda Segura and Jessica Davis. She was their endless source of support, guidance, and unconditional love. She enjoyed watching old westerns including Gunsmoke and Bonanza. She rarely missed an episode of the Young and the Restless. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jose Ramos; her sister, Teresa Lopez, her brothers Jesse & Joe Cruz and son-in-law, Juan Velazquez. Her memory will forever be cherished by her sister, Janie Cruz, and her brothers, Santos Cruz and David Cruz, son-in-law Arthur Sedillo Jr. and son-in-law Reggie Davis. Gloria's love also extended to her cherished grandchildren: Melinda Ramos, Melissa Ramos, Maxine Vazquez, Kristin Ramos, Hailey Malone, Sherman Malone, Angelicia Wagner, Jamie Ramos Jr., Jase Ramos, Jason Ramos, Arthur Sedillo, Jayden Sedillo, Ariana Segura, Alaia McCook, Alayna Garcia, and Khloe Schooler and her 11 great grandchildren. As we gather to mourn the loss of Gloria Segura, we find solace in celebrating the beautiful life she led. Her grace, kindness, and unwavering dedication will forever leave an indelible mark on our hearts. The void she leaves behind will be felt by all those whose lives she has touched.
