Guadalupe D. Ramirez, Jr. passed into the arms of the Lord on December 10, 2020 at Memorial Hermann Southwest in Houston.  He was born March 3, 1958 in Wharton, TX to the late Guadalupe and Pauline Ramirez.

Guadalupe was a lifelong resident of Wharton and attended school at Boling High School. He married the love of his life Anita (Gutierrez) on May 10, 1976 in Wharton.  He loved to go fishing and his family described him as a ‘Workaholic’ when it came to working on and painting his cars.  His children fondly remember how much he loved to BBQ but his true joy in life was spending time with his 19 grandkids and great grandchildren who will dearly miss him.

He is survived by his wife Anita Ramirez (Gutierrez), his children Timothy and his wife Brittany of Bay City, Philip and his partner Jessica of Wharton, Charles Wayne and his wife Leonor of East Bernard, Monica Salcido and her husband Anthony of Boling and Donna Estrada and her husband David of Wharton.  His 19 grandchildren Timothy Jr., Ceasar, Pracilla, DaMarco, Alazae, Alexia, Charles Jr. Christian, Larissa, Jaedan, Arik, Brea'Ann, Ciara, Deserae, Anthony Jr., Anna Lea, Maddison, Baylee, Kynlee, step grandkids Nevaeh,  Serenity, Jr, Daniel, Devine, Isabel, Sabrina and his three great grandchildren Milani, Addison, Haiden (and one on the way!) and his brothers Julius, David, Jesse (Merlinda), Joe, James, Jimmy (Debra), Louis (Bertha) and Sister Mary.  He is predeceased in death by his dad Guadalupe Driscoll Ramirez Sr, mother Pauline DeLeon Ramirez, Sisters Martha Rodriguez and Gloria Ramirez, brother Ruben Ramirez and daughter Abigail Gutierrez.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects Friday December 18 from 5-7 P.M. at the Wharton Funeral Home 515 E. Boling Hwy. with a small service to begin at 7:00 P.M.  His funeral service will be on Saturday December 19 at 9:30 A.M. at Peace Tabernacle United Church 1416 N. Alabama Rd. Wharton. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Wharton.
