On April 10, 2021, Jimmie C. Jones, 67, passed away peacefully in Huntsville, Texas. Jimmie was born in Waco, Texas to the late James Curtis and Alice Camille Brown Moore.

Jimmie was raised in the Waco area and attended school there. She later completed her education at Sam Houston State University earning her teaching certificate. She married Earl Jones on May 15, 1975 in Plano, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2019. Jimmie was an avid church goer, and was a member of the Methodist Faith. She enjoyed needle point and loved teaching, even into her retirement.

Jimmie is survived by her daughters, Katheryn Hundmer and husband, Ryan of Richmond, Texas and Victoria Michele Jones of Huntsville Texas, brothers Michael Moore and Spencer Moore, 4 neices and a nephew.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning, April 21st beginning at 10 a.m. at Wharton Funeral Home, 515 Boling Highway Wharton.  The graveside services will be held at 11a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton with Rev. Jim McPhail officiating.
