Jonathan William Udall, 46, of Wharton, Texas, passed away at his residence on Saturday, November 13, 2021. He was born on November 28, 1974 in Provo, Utah to David Lawrence and Jeanne Ann Udall (Thompson)
Jon spent majority of his childhood in Houston and graduated from Kempner High School, where he played varsity football. He was also a proud Eagle Scout.
After high school, Jon spent time in Hawaii picking pineapples, and he fell in love with the islands and their culture. He took up surfing, and would visit the islands many times throughout his life.
Jon returned to the Houston area and pursued a career as an electronics salesman.
Jon was a colorful and charming character who could be counted on to liven up any gathering of family or friends. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, in addition to skydiving, raising large dogs, shooting, and hunting.
Jon was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his mother; daughter Ashley Udall and her daughters Annette Strasma and Ava Rabius; sons Travis Udall, Tristan Udall and Thomas Udall; and siblings Ben Udall, Cherish Kallis (Udall), Jeff Udall, Mike Udall, Nate Udall, Zach Udall, Nick Udall, Becky Hazen (Udall), and Tim Udall.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 19 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 9950 Mason Road, Richmond, Texas 77406 at 10 am with services beginning at 11. Graveside services will be held at 2pm at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Katy.
