Larry Garza

Larry Garza   Larry Garza, 53, of Houston and formerly of Wharton, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019 in Houston, TX.  He was born on April 11, 1965 in Karnes City, TX to parents, Albino and Alena Rossette Garza.   Larry worked as a painter and contractor for many years. He enjoyed a good game of dominoes, playing pool and playing basketball with his nephews. Larry was always known as a hard worker.   He is survived by his wife, Janie Garza, daughters, Christina Lee Garza, Heather Marie Garza, Lauren Garza and Audra Garza, son, Chris Owens, sisters, Angela Kuehnert and Sylvia Aguilar, brothers, Michael Garza and Willie Garza along with numerous other relatives and extended family and close friends. He is preceeded in death by his brothers Wally Garza, Santos Garza, and Henry Garza.   A Funeral Service will be held on Friday February 15 at 2:30 pm at Wharton Funeral Home with burial to follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be T.J. Lopez, Mark Garza, Eric Garza, J.J. Aguilar, Damon Garza, Willie Garza, Henry Garza and Joel Guerra.   Funeral services are under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home. Condolences may be left at whartonfuneralhome.com.
