In loving memory of Margaret Kutach
Margaret Kutach, a cherished homemaker from West Columbia, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024, at the age of 81. Born in El Campo, TX on January 1, 1943, to the late Anton Cerny and Frances Baklik Cerny.
Margaret found joy in spending time with her family, enjoying the company of her dogs, and exploring new places through travel. Margaret also loved the thrill of visiting the casino, the rhythm of dances, the excitement of shopping, and the warmth of family gatherings. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Alfonse Cerny, Lillian McKee, Anton Cerny, Irene Lutringer, Ella Cervenka and Alvin Cerny
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Eugene “Gene” Daniel Kutach; son Mark Kutach and wife Danna of Pearland, daughter, Lindsey Paradis and husband, David of Pearland; grandchildren, Andrew Paradis, Christina Paradis, Ava Kutach, Abby Kriska, Lyla Kutach, and Parker Paradis, who held a special place in her heart.
Visitation will be held at the Wharton Funeral Home on Friday, May 3, 2024, starting at 5:00 pm with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated at the Holy Family Catholic Church on May 4, 2024, at 10:30 am with Father Sam Appiasi officiating. A Rite of Committal and burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
