Maria Isabel Rodriguez
Mrs. Maria Rodriguez, age 93, passed away on September 17, 2022 at her home with her family. Maria was born in General Bravo, Mexico to Candelario Martinez and Maria Martinez. Maria married Inocencio Rodriguez and together they raised 4 daughters and 1 son. Maria was a cook in WISD. She was a skilled seamstress, loved flowers and gardening and made the best Tamales.
She is survived by her children Marian Rocha and Husband John of Richmond, Lucy Rodriguez of Wharton, Jesse Rodriguez and wife Betty of Wharton, Jadira Cantu and husband Joe of Clute.
She was preceded in death by Candelario Martinez (Father), Maria Martinez (Mother), Elma Falcon (Daughter).
Visitation will be held on September 22, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
Services for Mrs. Maria Rodriguez will be held on September 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Perez officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. in Wharton, Texas.
