Marion Gertrude Nordhof

Marion Gertrude Nordhof, 96 of Wharton, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024. She was born on October 20, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Simon and Mary Overbeek Bakker.

Marion was raised in the Chicago Illinois area and graduated from high school there. Marion married Richard Feyen in 1949, and he preceded her in death in 1968. Later, she married Pat Nordhof in 1972, and he preceded her in death in 1990She was a bookkeeper by trade and enjoyed raising her 6 children. She loved reading, working crosswords, and word puzzles, playing Scrabble any chance, she had, and playing the violin and piano in her younger years. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Fran Driesenga and brothers, Gerald Bakker and Richard Bakker and grandsons, Brian Molegraaf and Steven Driesenga.

Marion is survived by her daughters, Donna Molegraaf and husband, John, Audrey Watson and Mary Brown and husband, Jim and sons, Richard Feyen and wife, Peggy and Mike Feyen and wife, Deanna, 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Per her wishes, Marion‘s family will be having celebration of her life at a later date.
