Mark Wayne Cunningham

Mark Wayne Cunningham, 57, of Wharton, Tx passed peacefully in his sleep at home in Palacios, TX. He was born in Wharton on April 27, 1966, to Fred and Barbara (Morris) Cunningham.

Mark attended school in Wharton and worked for Nanya Plastics Corporation as a Lab Manager for 30 years.

Mark loved fishing in Matagorda; playing slot machines at the casinos; cooking and barbequing and playing and watching sports- especially football.

Mark is survived by his mother, Barbara (Morris) Cunningham of Wharton, sister, Kimberly (Cunningham) Geymann and husband, Brett of Lake Charles, LA, and brother Keith Crosby Cunningham and wife, Gina of Portland, TX. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, Amy Koenig- his companion, and many friends and fishing buddies.

Mark is preceded in death by his father, Fred Crosby Cunningham.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 2-5 p.m at Holy Family Life Center in Wharton.
