Martin Salinas

Martin Salinas passed into the arms of the Lord on March 15, 2022, at a Wharton Nursing home with his wife by his side. He was born in Los Aldamas, Mexico on March 21, 1943, to the late Pedro Salinas and Maria Garcia Salinas.
Martin will be fondly remembered by his family for his love of horseback riding, watching bull riding and BBQ! He worked for many years at the V8 ranch in Boling, TX, also the Maxim Egg Farm in Boling.
He is survived by his wife Yolonda (Aguilar) Salinas of Boling. He is also survived by his children Maria Salinas of Mexico, Melba Salinas of Mission, TX, Ludivina Salinas of Mexico, Dina Davis (Brody) of Boling, Jessica Ann Guzman (Hank) of Pleak, TX, Katherine Green (Junior) of Greer, SC, Rogelio Salinas of Mission, TX and Martin Salinas, Jr. of TN. His grandchildren Yuliana Cruz, Rogelio Salinas, Jr., Yannely Salinas, Natalie Rosas, Stephany Rosas, Hector Rosas, Jr., Blanca Sanchez, Fernanda Salinas, Gerardo Salinas, Federico Salinas, Juan Albino and Martin Salinas, III.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday March 17th from 11-1 P.M. at Wharton Funeral Home 515 E. Boling Hwy. Wharton, TX 77488. His funeral service will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Ron Fernandez officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, Wharton.
