Melinda Sue White

Melinda White, 62, of Boling passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Sodalis Assisted Care Center in Wharton. She was born on February 23, 1962, in New Orleans, LA to the late Ross and Betty Asher Sterling.

 Melinda was raised in New Orleans, Conroe and Boling and graduated from Boling High School in 1980. Melinda had several jobs over the years, her favorite being mom to her daughter, Mercedes. She retired as a cafeteria chef at Boling ISD. Melinda loved music, playing the guitar and traveling in Texas and Louisiana. 

 Melinda is survived by her loving daughter, Mercedes White of Boling, step daughter, Grace “Mallorie” White of Spring, step sons, Timothy White of Spring and Samuel “Ty” White and wife, Magan of Willis, sisters, Valarie Henson and husband, Cliff of Boling and Katrina Waddell and husband, Kyle of Mauriceville, nephews, Kris Henson and wife Candis, Justin Henson, Caleb Henson, Ryan Waddell, and wife Katie and George Henson, IV and wife, Marianne and great niece and nephews, Brayden, Konner, Jaxson and Charlotte Henson.

 A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
