Michele Kathleen Ombogo

Michele Kathleen Ombogo, 32, of Wharton passed away on March 8, 2018 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Rosenberg Texas on September 7, 1985 in Rosenberg to Donna Badgett McCoy and the late Jackie McCoy.   Michele was raised in Wharton and Boling and attended school in both areas. She later Everest Institute. She married John Ombogo in February 2007 in Boling. Together they were owners and operators of a landscape business. She enjoyed dancing, fishing, going to the beach, bowling, and being with her family.   She is survived by her husband of 11 years, John Ombogo of Rosenberg; children, Brianna Ombogo and John James Ombogo, both of Wharton, mother, Donna Badgett McCoy of CA, sisters, Jessica Renee Badgett McCoy of Colorado and Rebecca Ann Badgett of CA and many friends and extended family.   Funeral services were held at Wharton Funeral Home Chapel in Wharton, TX at 12 noon on Thursday, March 15, 2018 with Pastor Bobby Charles officiating.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton, TX.     The funeral services are under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.  Condolences may be left at whartonfuneralhome.com
