Patricia Ann Samora “Nanie” Our beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandma and friend succumbed on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the age of 62. While we mourn her passing, we rejoice in the knowledge that she is resting with the Lord in Heaven. Nanie was born November 9, 1959, in Newgulf, Texas to Nieves Salinas Samora and the late Guadalupe Samora, Sr. She attended Boling High School and enjoyed being a cook at several restaurants in the Richmond/Rosenberg area. Nanie enjoyed puzzles, teaching her nieces and nephews how to play poker, shooting pool, loved fishing, watching movies & TV gameshows, and listening to music. In addition to her father, she was welcomed into heaven by her niece, Doreen Rodriguez, nephews, D.J. King, and William Rene Samora, and great nephews, Trevor Burleson Jr., and Lucas Samora. Nanie is survived by her daughter, Christi Padron and husband, Rigo of Houston, grandchildren, Rigo Padron Garcia Jr., Jeronimo Padron Garcia, and Venancio Padron Garcia, mother, Nieves Samora, siblings, Diana Rodriguez, Rosella Samora, Norma Navarro, Maria Coto, Victoria Ardoin, Guadalupe Samora, Jr. and Robert Samora Sr. Pallbearers will include Mauricio Samora, Dorien Samora Rodriguez, Alexia Rodriguez, Azael Alvarado, Aaron Samora, and Robert “Bob” Samora. Honorary pallbearer will be son-in-law Rigo, Grandsons RJ, Nemo, and Vinny, Brothers Lupe and Robert. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 after 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church in Wharton. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. with Father Antonio Perez officiating.
