Paul Thomas Clements, Sr., passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at his home in Wharton. He was born on July 31, 1939, in Millville New Jersey, to the late Walter and Elizabeth Dilks Clements.
Paul was raised in the Millville area and graduated from Millville High School. He married Nellie K. Hannah on April 21, 1961. Paul served honorably in the United States Army. He enjoyed living in the mountains of North Carolina. Paul worked for DuPont chemical for over 30 years as a safety inspector. He enjoyed watching football, doing yardwork, hunting and fishing in his younger days, and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a spiritual man that loved to discuss the Bible with his minister and members of his family.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Nellie K Clements of Wharton, daughter, Tammy Lynn Clements of Asheboro, North Carolina; sons, Paul Thomas Clements, Jr. and partner, Rick Mason of Ashville, NC and Richard Mark Clements and partner, Arturo Montero of Wharton; grandchildren, Kelly Lynn Probert, Amanda Sue McCain and husband, Aaron and Russell Maness, and great grandchildren, Adeline and Anabelle.
A Celebration of his life will be held at a later time at Caney Creek Community Church in Wharton.
