Phillip Carter

In Loving Memory Of Phillip Carter February 18, 1941 ~ September 29, 2019   Phillip Carter aka “Big Sunny” passed into the arms of the Lord on September 29, 2019.  He was born February 18, 1941 in Houston, Texas to Phillip Carter and Georgia Boldin.   Phillip was raised in the Houston area and graduated from Jack Yates High School.  He went on to start his own trucking and cleaning services with Ruby Carter. Phillip loved listening to jazz music, nice cars and clothes. His greatest joy was his grandchildren and daughters.   He is survived by his daughters: Felissa Carter-Morrin Irchirl, Yolanda Ames and husband Cedric Ames, and Yvette Carter; son, Phillip Carter Jr.; sisters Augerine Anderson, Barbara Mosley, and Patricia White; brother, Don Carter; and grandchildren Morrin Irchirl Jr., Loryn Irchirl, Tre ‘Wayne Irchirl, Miah Ames, Jazmin Ames and Meshia McAllister Carter.  He is proceeded in death by his parents and his sister Vera Brown.
