Ricky Alan Wrobliski
March 23, 1960 ~ September 21, 2021
On Tuesday, September 21, 2021, Ricky Alan Wrobliski was called home at the age of 61. The world has lost a great brother, husband, father, and leader.
Rick was born in Richmond, TX on March 23, 1960, to Raymond and Edna Wrobliski. He grew up strong working alongside his family in the fields. He continued his love of farming in teaching his sons the value of hard work and the importance of family. He enjoyed watching his sons work together along with him to accomplish goals as a family farm. Rick relaxed by tending and caring to his cattle when the crops weren’t needing the extra attention. He also worked at TXDOT for 26 years before retiring in 2013 all the while continuing his love for farming. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Rick, and he loved sitting on his swing and barbequing in the company of family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Becky, his sons David Wrobliski and wife Kirby along with granddaughters Jordan and Carrie, James Wrobliski and wife Kory along with future grandson Clint, and Steven Wrobliski. He is also survived by his siblings, Jannie Bohacek, Wes Wrobliski and wife Joyce, Jeff Wrobliski and wife Lorrie, Rodney Wrobliski and wife Yvonne, sisters-in-law Sheila Wrobliski, Cindy Olivier, Karen Klobedans, mother-in-law Dorothy Klobedans, also are numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Michael, brother-in-law George Bohacek, father-in-law Walter Klobedans, and niece Kelsey Oberrender.
Family and friends of Rick are invited to celebrate his life with viewing being held on Tuesday, September 28 at the Wharton Funeral Home from 5:00pm-7:00pm with a rosary staring at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 29 at 10:00am at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Wharton, TX. Friends may call after 9”00 A.M.
