Ronald "Ronnie" Lynn Vineyard

Ronald Lynn Vineyard, 68, of Wharton passed away on May 17, 2018.  He was born October 30, 1949 in Wharton to Ben Lynn Vineyard, Jr. and Maribeth Lang Vineyard. He is survived by his daughter, Brandie Lynn Bodungen and husband, Derrick of El Campo, two grandchildren, Emilie Camille and Kate Lynn Bodungen of El Campo, brother Ben Lynn Vineyard, III of Las Vegas, Nevada, uncle, Dr. Robert Stirling Vineyard and wife, Nancy of Wharton and aunt, Carole Vineyard Warren of Midland; nephew, Ben Lynn Vineyard, IV and nieces Myriah Vineyard Turner, Maribeth Vineyard Paytas and Geni Vineyard Hubbard. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, David Neal Vineyard and William King Vineyard. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at the Wharton City Cemetery on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 6:00 PM.  Arrangements under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Ronnie Vineyard, P.O. Box 563, Wharton, TX 77488 to benefit his granddaughters, or the “papooses”, as Ronnie so affectionately called them.
