Ronnie Wisnieski Ronnie Wisnieski, 74 of Wharton died on Monday, October 25th in a Sugar Land hospital. He was born on December 22, 1946 in Wharton to the late Joe Wisnieski, Sr. and Elsie Sedlock Wisnieski. Ronnie was raised in the Wharton area and attended Wharton Schools. He married Debra Lucas on September 3, 1976 in Wharton. Ronnie served our country honorably in the United States Army during the Viet Nam Era. He worked for Dow Chemical as a truck driver for many years. he loved to hunt and fish, bbq and go camping. Many days you could see Ronnie at the racetrack, driving his muscle car to victory. Left to mourn his loss are his wife, Debra Wisnieski of Wharton, daughters, Vanessa Pierce and husband Greg of Fulshear, Lynette Wisnieski Hessong, and son, Rocky Wisnieski, sisters, Betty Bartos and husband, Jerome of Lake Jackson and Gloria Pavlas and husband, Julius of Burr, brother, Leo Wisnieski and grandson, Larson Pierce. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 6 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home with Fr Sam Appasi officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
