Sandra Ann Gangstad

 Sandra Gangstad, 62, of Boling, Tx passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 5, 1962, in Wharton Texas to the late Albert and Geneva Ramirez Garza.

 Sandra was raised in the Boling area and spent her life there. She worked in the food service industry for many years and raised five great children. She enjoyed watching her soap operas, spending time with her children and grandchildren and cooking for the holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Eugene Garza, sister Stella Cruz and husband, Fernie.

 Sandra is survived by her husband of 43 years, Frederick Gangstad. They married on July 13, 1981, in Wharton. Additional survivors include, sons, Jason Gangstad and wife, Amy, Sean Gangstad, Chad Gangstad and wife, Antonia and Robert Gangstad and wife, Kaitlyn, and daughter, Roxanne Claxton and husband, Wesley, brothers, Robert Garza and wife, Anita, Albert Garza and wife Patricia, Kenneth Garza, and her sisters, Debbie Arias and husband Sam, Evelyn Piña and husband, Ray, sister-in-law, Irma Garza and her precious grandchildren, Michael, Haisley, Bentley, Adaline and Lukas.

 Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 6-8 pm at the chapel of Wharton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 10 am at Wharton Funeral Home. Serving as pall bearers will be Jason Gangstad, Sean Gangstad, Chad Gangstad, Robert Gangstad, Kenneth Garcia and Ryan Morin.

 Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
