Sharon Jean Newlin

Sharon Jean Newlin, 72, of Wharton passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at a Wharton hospital following a sudden illness. She was born on July 29, 1946 in Illinois to the late Floyd and Wanda Lucille Deck.        Sharon was raised in Illinois and Indiana and graduated from high school in Illinois. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. A crafty person, she enjoyed making Christmas ornaments, sewing and antiquing. She was Christian by faith . In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her sister, Beverly Miethe.        She is survived by her daughters, Karla Anderson and husband, Tag of Wallisville and Stacy Norrell and husband, Ben of Houston, son, James Kochel of Wharton and sisters, Judy Chastian and husband, Bob of Ladoga Indiana, Diana Cochran and husband, Calvin of Indiana and Donna Yeagley and husband, Ron of Indiana, brother in law, Terry Miethe and grandchildren, Micayla Anderson, Hannah Anderson and Paxton Norrell.        A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 5 p.m. at Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home.   Funeral services under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.  Condolences may be left at whartonfuneralhome.com.
