Steven V. Trevino, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, was born on December 28, 1964, in Houston, Texas. He left this world on March 12, 2025, at Cornerstone Specialty Hospital in Conroe, TX, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Steven graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1982, where he began to carve out his path as a skilled electrician. His dedication to his craft shaped not only his career but also the lives of those around him, as he shared his expertise generously with family and friends alike.
Known for his warm spirit and vibrant personality, Steven had a true passion for life—he loved fishing and spending weekends barbecuing with his family. A passionate sports fan, he found joy in cheering for the Astros, Rockets, and Texans, celebrating victories and comforting those he watched lose. The most precious moments, however, were those spent surrounded by his family. They were his greatest treasure and source of happiness.
Steven is survived by his sister Kristina T. Gonzalez and her husband Simon, his niece Samantha Garcia and her husband Juan, his nephew Adam Trevino Jr. and his wife Crystal, and his beloved nieces Madison Gonzalez, Sophia Gonzalez, and Riley Gonzalez. He also leaves behind two adoring great-nephews, Gavin Reyes and Jude Garcia, great niece Stefani Elena Reyes who brought him immense joy and pride.
He is preceded in death by his father, Valentin S. Trevino, his mother, Elena V. Trevino, and his brother, Adam V. Trevino. Though their absence leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, his memory will forever be a guiding light.
Family and friends are invited to come together to honor Steven's life at the visitation on March 20, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at 515 E Boling Hwy, Wharton, TX. A Funeral Service will take place the following day, March 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, located at 506 South East Avenue, Wharton, TX.
As we say goodbye to Steven Trevino, we remember his kindness, his love for life, and the indelible mark he has left on all of us. His spirit will continue to guide and inspire through the stories we share, the laughter we remember, and the love he so generously gave. May he rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
