Susan Michelle Esparza

Susan Michelle Fitchette Esparza, 52, passed away at her home in Wharton, Texas, on December 3, 2020, following a lengthy illness. She was born on December 4, 1967 in Houston to Susan Strong Fitchette and the late David Michael Fitchette.

Michelle was raised in the Wharton area and attended Wharton High School. Michelle was a loving mother to her children, always very attentive and caring for all their needs. She was also very devoted to reading and learning her Bible. She would quote scripture many times a day in normal conversation. Michelle also loved to make people laugh and had a contagious sense of humor. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Dominic Esparza, and brother Michael Fitchette.

Michelle is survived by her son, Eryk Jalowy and wife, Heather, granddaughter, Dahlia, Mother, Susan Germany and husband, Robert, step-brother Paul Fitchette and her good friend, Bethany Robertson, her uncles, James Strong, Robert Clanahan along with many fur babies.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 1pm at the Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home with Pastor Laura Olsen officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. The family wishes to thank Davita Dialysis for their care and compassion expressed to Michelle.
